Building Site Testing & Inspection

Routine building site EICRs should be carried out every three months: it follows that a power tool used on a construction site receives heavier and more robust use than a bedside lamp in a hotel, for example, so the testing recommendations for the electricity supply are more frequent.

As well as testing the electrical power supply for the tools onsite, the electrical installation of any temporary cabins is included. While the EICR check is typically recommended every three months for equipment, it’s unlikely the cabins will require a similar frequency, so an annual check may suffice.

As the electrical equipment used on a building site is constantly evolving, so is legislation relating to the protection of employees. We take pride in the professional service we’re able to offer as a result of our knowledge, experience and adherence to stringent safety regulations in this field.
