Commercial Testing & Inspection

Commercial EICRs determine the safety of fixed wiring within the building to ensure it complies with the relevant safety regulations – British Standard BS 7671.

Included in the commercial sector are educational establishments such as schools, shops, offices, laboratories, medical clinics, hospitals, churches, hotels, restaurants, public houses, community centres and village halls. All lighting and lighting circuits are assessed before we write up a report on our findings.

A commercial EICR is typically much more in-depth than a domestic report. Electrical installations deteriorate over time and faults may occur due to wear and tear. A commercial property should be tested every five years, or in the event of a change of occupancy.
